Watts brass check valves prevent the backflow of drinking water or water of unknown quality up to hazard class 2. Thanks to the draining and control possibility, you can check the leak tightness without disassembling the non-return valve. Brass check valves can be used in indoor installations as well as in other applications. Model The non-return valve consists of : - brass body with draining and control lugs; - possible nuts and end caps ; - plastic check valve module; - lipseal sealing principle; - split valve stem. Standardization The controllable EA check valves have been developed in accordance with EN 1717 and comply with EN 13959. Installation specifications Install EA check valves according to data sheet 3.8. - Body: brass. - Threaded plugs: brass or plastic. - Clamping sleeves: brass. - End caps: brass. - Check valve: plastic. - Gasket : rubber. - Compensating spring : stainless steel. - Possible passages : DN15 - DN50. - Connection size: from 1/2" to 3" or from 15 mm to 67 mm. - Control pins: 1/4". - Operating temperature: 65 °C (max. 90 °C for 1 hour/day). - Working pressure: PN 10. - Peak pressure: 1.600 kPa (16 bar).
