Описание

hot water version BA 909 backflow protection with aeration of the intermediate chamber. The BA 909 is suitable for pressure and suction cross connections. Basic principle The operation of the BA 909 is based on maintaining a pressure level in the middle chamber (reduced pressure zone), which is lower than the pressure on the inlet side of the unit. These situations can occur in practice: - Counter-pressure on the discharge side; - underpressure is created on the inflow side; - both check valves do not close completely due to contamination. In this situation, underpressure can also occur in the middle chamber, as a result of which it is difficult or impossible to drain the backward flowing water. When this water reaches the first check valve, it could even be drawn back into the water mains. It is therefore extremely important to prevent the formation of underpressure in the middle chamber. The BA 909 achieves this by allowing air into the chamber via a separate duct leading into the top of the chamber. - Max. system pressure : PN 10 (10 bar). - Operating temperature: 90 °C (hot water version). - Housing: bronze. - Check valve seats: all stainless steel. - Seals: rubber. - Test valves: bronze. - Funnel: plastic. - Testing: Kiwa.
