The BA 4760 safety device consists of two check valves placed in series with a chamber fitted with a relief valve in between. The operation of the device is based on maintaining a reduced pressure in this intermediate chamber. Even when there is back pressure on the outlet side and both check valves are contaminated, the device will prevent backflow of contaminated water. In this case, the relief valve will open and thus provide an atmospheric separation between the drinking water supply and the user network. Removable check valves The first check valve, the second check valve and the relief valve are easy to dismantle, making maintenance easy. Standardisation The BA 4760 has been developed in accordance with EN 1717 and EN 12729. Installation instructions Install the BA 4760 according to Waterworksheet 3.8. - Housing : cast iron with epoxy coating. - Flange connection : according to EN1092-2 / DIN 2532. - Check valve seats: plastic. - Seals: rubber. - Relief valve seat: stainless steel. - Funnel: cast iron. - Testing: Belgaqua, Kiwa, NF, UNI, WRAS.
