The backflow preventer 2096 is a low-risk or intermittent risk installation protection for the protection against backflow of fluids (class 3) that may present a certain danger to human health due to the presence of toxic substances. The CA 2096 backflow preventer is equipped with a double check valve system with an intermediate relief valve, a strainer, a bleeder and a shut-off valve, and provides protection against both downstream overpressure and upstream underpressure. The CA 2096 has been specifically designed for small water distribution system connections. Standardization The backflow preventer CA 2096 has been developed in accordance with EN 1717 and EN 14367 (CAa). Installation specifications Install the backflow preventer CA 2096 according to data sheet 3.8. Installation requirements CA 2096 is laid horizontally, and its drain is turned downwards. The AC 2096 backflow preventer must never be submerged. Install the CA 2096 in an easily accessible location. The discharge funnel must be connected to a discharge line. Control In accordance with data sheet 1.4G, the correct functioning of an AC backflow preventer must be checked at least once a year. - Body: brass (DZR). - Spring: Stainless steel. - Gasket : rubber.
